- What are the rules regarding tailgating on the Quad?

- Can Game day Tents setup my own equipment (Tables, Chairs, TV’s, Etc) and store it for us each game?
No, GDT only services tailgating packages that are purchased in advance to all University Functions.
- I can see from your online map that you setup on the quad and in select areas, can I choose another location on campus to setup a package for an event?
No, we keep all of our clients on the quad and in select areas to provide the best possible service to you the customer.
- I have a precise location on the quad where I always tailgate , can you reserve that exact location?
Game Day Tents will make every effort to accommodate your spot. However, we recommend that you use our pre requested areas to ensure quality service to our customers. Certain areas on the quad cannot access electricity and satellite service.
- Can our package be upgraded for extra Tables, Chairs, Tailgating Accessories?
Game Day Tents will give its best effort to accommodate all of our customers with any upgrades. Upon booking your package, please note in advance your request for extra tailgating accessories.
- Can Game Day Tents upgrade my package to accommodate a TV and satellite hookup?
GDT only offers TV’s and satellite hookups for our 1st Down and Corporate packages.
- Does Gameday Tents use any other catering service besides Bama Dining?
No. Bama dining is our exclusive tailgating catering service. You are more than welcome to bring in any additional food or beverages to your tailgate party.
- What times will Bama Dining deliver my food to my tailgating spot?
Depending on the time of the game or event, Bama Dining will have exclusive times that your food can be delivered to your tailgating spot. (Hourly) Contact Bama Dining the week prior to each game to arrange your catering.
- When will my package be set up by on Football game weekends and how long do you allow our private event to be setup for?
Game Day Tents will have your tailgate package ready by 8 A.M. on Gameday’s. We also allow up to 3 hours after the completion of the game to enjoy your tailgate package.
- How can I figure out where to park upon arriving to campus?

- When can I drop off any extra tailgating accessories that’s not provided by GDT and pick them up after the game?
Drop Off:
Gameday 6:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. for morning games
Gameday 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. for afternoon and evening games
Pickup:
Post game – when pedestrian and Gameday traffic clears (approximately two hours after the end of the game or sooner if determined by law enforcement officials) For post game, a re-loading zone will be open along 9th Avenue on the west side of The Quad. Due to the high amount of pedestrian traffic and the use of Capstone Drive as a transit lane, this re-loading zone will open once all Gameday pedestrian and bus traffic clears (approximately two hours after the end of the game or sooner if determined by local law enforcement officials). For access, please utilize the same route as the pre-game loading zone.
- Can we bring an electric grill or any kind of electrical cooking options out to quad to cook?
- No. Electrical cooking equipment is not allowed on the quad at any times. Due to a limited supply of electrical power on the quad, this can cause problems with the electricity.
Charcoal Grills are allowed on the quad.
Gasoline-powered generators are strictly prohibited on The Quad. They create noise and fumes that are disturbing to others.
- Will we have the opportunity to use electricity on the Quad?
We accommodate our entire packages to be able to access power on the quad. However, due to a limited supply of outlets, electrical hook ups will be based on a first come, first serve basis. All of your electronics supplied by GDT will be hooked up and ready to operate upon arriving to your tailgating area.
- Are we required to clean up our area after the game is over?
NO. Game Day Tents is prepared to do this service for you. Designated Trash cans will be placed around your tailgate area with liners. After you are done tailgating for your event, simply contact our Management team and we’ll take care of the rest.
- What is your rain policy?
GDT will setup your Game day Package under light weather conditions. In the case of severe weather, GDT may modify the services offered for certain event. In the event that your package is cancelled due to weather, GDT will credit half of balance paid towards a future game. Any food or beverages that are purchased will have to be arranged separately with our exclusive vendors.
